Charles Aznavour

He got the love for art from parents: his father was an artist of the operetta, and his mother played in boulevard theaters.

Serj Tankian was born on August 21, 1967 in Lebanon. When he was 8, the family moved to Los Angeles, where Serge enters the Armenian music school. In 1994, Serj Tankian meets with the future members of the group of Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadzhyan, John Dolmyan and Andy Khachatryan.
Besides of SOAD Serj Tankian is engaged in social activities, in which he appealed to the US President to recognize the Armenian Genocide. The video with the ppeal has got millions of views, but still there was no answer from the White House.

Andre Agassi, the legendary tennis player, also has Armenian roots. His family moved to the United States from Iran. From childhood Andre Agassi had a brilliant career. The dream of his father Aghasi turned into reality; at an age of 16 he began to engage in professional tennis. During his career he has won 80 Grand Slam Cup, gold at the Olympics in 1996 and for several years he was recognized the first racket of the world. He is recognized the great son of Armenia, and all Armenians are proud of him.
